City of Charleston's Comprehensive Transportation Plan Workshop
October 16, 2017
Calling on all those who walk, bike, ride and drive in Charleston! The City of Charleston’s first Comprehensive Transportation Plan workshop is taking place from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the offices of BoomTown!, located at 1505 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403.
If you call Charleston home, the City needs you to help lay out the problems, identify solutions, and bring about positive change. The community will gather to help craft an Action Plan, which will be implemented immediately and guide us on how we will move through the city in the future.
“Close collaboration between and among citizens and jurisdictions is going to be key to solving our traffic problems in the years ahead — and we as a city are committed to doing our part to make it work,” says Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg.
The growing pains of worsening traffic, congestion and aging infrastructure are felt by all. Help the City tackle these issues head-on and be apart of a movement!
