ULI SC’s First UrbanPlan Class is in the Books!

Students in our inaugural UrbanPlan class at the College of Charleston finished up their projects this week, with a presentation of their plans to “City Council.”  Ten volunteers served as Facilitators, working with the students during two class periods as they refined their master plan for the 5.5 block site in the fictitious town of Elmwood. Five student teams of 5, including a Site Planner, Financial Analyst, Neighborhood Liaison, City Liaison, and Director of Marketing, weighed the trade-offs and difficult decisions that are often part of the development process.   … Read More
