ULI Member Joe Pazdan To Be Honored by March of Dimes

The March of Dimes has announced that Joe Pazdan, a Managing Principal at McMillan Pazdan Smith, will be honored at the 2019 Real Estate and Economic Development Award Luncheon. The event was established in 1998 to honor a member of the real estate community who has demonstrated a long history of service, leadership and vision. This year’s event will be held on November 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Poinsett Club. See the March of Dimes press release for more information. Congratulations Joe!

North Charleston Advisory Services Panel

March 31 through April 5, 2019, North Charleston hosted a 10-member ULI Advisory Services Panel to study the Rivers and McMillan Avenues intersection—a promising but challenged area of the city that includes a large amount of publicly-owned land.  The area is also in an Opportunity Zone and will be a major hub for Charleston’s Lowcountry Rapid Transit system, currently in planning. Midlands members gathered the morning of April 9 to hear from John Fellows, City of Columbia’s City Planning Administrator, share details about Columbia Compass.
