The second quarter of the year is in full swing and ULI South Carolina is not slowing down. Five Scholarships to Attend Fall Meeting Being Offered to Public Officials

The Rose Center is offering five scholarships to public officials to attend the Fall Meeting. The awards will cover full registration at the meeting plus up to $1500 towards travel and lodging. Theses scholarships ar open to elected officials and management-level employees of government agencies, and will be awarded based on a demonstrated record of ULI involvement and leadership. ULI SC Midlands Tours Boutique Hotel Trundle Recap

Midlands members gathered at Hotel Trundle Wednesday, August 15, to hear from owners Rita Patel and Marcus Munse about the boutique hotel located across three historic buildings in downtown Columbia. Hotel Trundle, with each of its 41-rooms unique, opened in April. The hotel very much showcases its hometown, featuring art and photography by local artists, furnishing from Columbia area firms, and food and drink from local merchants. Dr. Robert Benedict will be honored by the March of Dimes at the 2018 Real Estate and Economic Development Award Luncheon.  The event was established in 1998 to honor a member of the real estate community who has demonstrated a long history of service; recipients are chosen for their outstanding leadership and vision in the community.
