The ULI SC Upstate community kicked off April with a Coffee & Conversation with Nancy Whitworth and Katherine O’Neill.

Katherine O’Neill is Chief Economic Officer for OneSpartanburg, Inc. and Nancy Whitworth, is an advisor with OneSpartanburg, Inc. The duo shared news of recent and upcoming development in and around Spartanburg, providing a “virtual” tour of new development happening across the area. Alex Powell (Johnson Development Associates), ULI SC Upstate Regional Vice Chair, served as our moderator.

Katherine and Nancy have a long history of involvement in the economic development of the GSP region. Prior to OneSpartanburg, Inc., Katherine was Chief Operating Officer for the Palladian Group, and served as Spartanburg County Administrator from 2012-2018.

Nancy Whitworth was appointed South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) Commissioner as a Governor’s At-Large Appointee in October, 2020. She was the Deputy City Manager and Director of Economic Development for the City of Greenville before retiring in 2020.
