Please join us for a continuation of the Beer & Brainstorming series at Columbia Craft, where Lee Snelgrove, Executive Director of One Columbia for Arts & History, will lead a conversation around public art, increasing creative activity in public spaces, & the process for cultural planning in the City of Columbia, SC.

Lee Snelgrove is the Executive Director of One Columbia for Arts and History. Since taking the position in 2013, he’s overseen the establishment of a process for commissioning public art and the installation of 29 new pieces, the establishment of the position of a City Poet Laureate, coordinated the development of a strategic plan for the Congaree Vista’s formal cultural district designation, and has been a leader of multi-organizational city-wide. He is currently overseeing the coordination of 22 new public art projects, cooperating with partner organizations to identify innovative ways to enhance the city’s public spaces, and developing a city-wide cultural plan to unify the arts community in a common vision.

The Beer & Brainstorming series is designed to be an informal gathering over happy hour where ULI members can discuss topics of interest, network with fellow land use professionals, & enjoy a beer or two.

Free for members; $25 for non-members.
