Join ULI Midlands members and friends for the first session in our 2020 Development 360 Series: Pre-Development with panelists Krista Hampton, City of Columbia (invited), Leighton Lord, Nexsen Pruet (confirmed), and Bob Mundy, Estates Company (invited).
The Development 360 Series is an initiative of ULI South Carolina Midlands and modeled after similar speakers series in the Upstate and Coastal regions. Over the course of 2020, we will host six sessions designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the real estate development process—from pre-development and entitlements, to architecture, planning, construction and project disposition.
In 2020 the ULI Midlands Development 360 series will be held on the 4th Wednesday of each odd-numbered month from 8:30am – 9:30am at City Market located at 705 Gervais Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Many thanks to Scott Garvin and his team at Garvin Design Group for hosting this bi-monthly series!
Coffee & pastries will be available.
About Session #1: Pre-development
Even before a single piece of dirt is turned, there are hours of pre-development work to be done for any real estate development project. Join this accomplished panel of planning and real estate experts to learn what needs to happen during the pre-development phase in order to set your real estate project up for success down the road. Topics to be explored include entitlements, rezoning, development regulations and community relations and engagement.
