Blue Zones Project – Participate in Charleston Site Visit on February 21

Join Dr. Ann Kulze (Dr. Ann Wellness), Dr. Susan Johnson (MUSC) and Paul Wieters (City of Charleston Wellness Coordinator) for a presentation on Blue Zones Project’s approach to improving community well-being. Community members are invited to  participate in a small group discussion to provide strategic counsel on the current state of well-being in our community and how we can work together to improve environments and make healthy choices easier where we live, work, and play.

The event will take place on Wednesday, February 21, at Founders Hall, Charles Towne Landing, 1500 Old Towne Rd, Charleston, SC. The Community Transformation Presentation will be held 8:30am-10:30am, with focus groups on Community Policy, Worksites, Schools, and more taking place throughout the day. The event is sponsored by MUSC Health, Roper St. Francis, Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC and Sodexo.
