On Thursday, June 21, The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) is leading local efforts to encourage alternative travel methods on National Dump the Pump Day.

CARTA has set a goal to set a single-day ridership record of more than 20,000. Whether it’s an Express bus, the HOP, DASH or a local route, consider hopping on and dumping the pump for a day.
