Members on the coast gathered for Development 360 #3: Site Design, Testing & Environmental. The discussion was led by Gary Collins of Seamon Whiteside and Ross Deaver of Summit Engineering. Gary and Ross shared their perspective of the site design process, and the environmental and site testing that typically occurs before and during this process.

The Development 360 Series is an initiative of ULI South Carolina Coastal Young Leaders Group.  It is a six-session program designed to provide emerging leaders with a comprehensive overview of the real estate development process—from pre-development and entitlements, to architecture, planning, construction and disposition.

The series is held on the 3rd Thursday of each odd-numbered month, from 8:30am – 9:30am at the Clemson Design Center Charleston, located on the 2nd floor of the Cigar Factory, 701 East Bay Street, Charleston, SC 29403.

Although hosted by our Young Leaders, these events are open to all.

The next installment will be held Thursday, July 18 and will focus on Architecture.
