ULISC Midlands gathered on Tuesday, January 22 for their “Coffee & Conversation” series. Carl Blackstone, President & CEO of Columbia Chamber of Commerce, spoke about property tax reform.  As the state capital and home to major educational institutions, government agencies and non-profits, a large percentage of Columbia’s land is non-taxable, presenting significant challenges for the growing city.
