The ULI South Carolina/Lowcountry Local First South Carolina Food & Real Estate Forum has been rescheduled for Thursday, November 30 at The Schoolhouse. The day will be an exploration of the intersection of food & real estate. Participants will enjoy a networking lunch prepared by Chelsey Conrad of Butcher & Bee. Keynote speaker, and health and wellness expert, Dr. Ann Kulze will discuss the importance of real food and how you can impact your community. Lively conversations with local non-profit groups and private developers will showcase the benefits of building food-related elements into development projects, expected returns, and effective partnership structures. Hear from ULI members Steve Zoukis, Steve Navarro, Diana Permar, LLF’s Director of Sustainable Agriculture, Brian Wheat, The Post & Courier’s Hanna Raskin, and many more. The day caps off with a cocktail reception and tour of the Magnolia Community Garden led by Charleston Parks Conservancy’s Harry Lesesne.
