Those unable to attend the Fall Meeting gathered Monday evening in Greenville to learn about key take-aways from last month’s meeting in Los Angeles. Clemson MRED students shared highlights from the meeting with 50 attendees.
Major take-aways shared include:
- Driverless autonomous vehicles will be widely adopted by 2030—which sparked debate and questions among the attendees regarding when/if it will happen
- The housing affordability crises is a growing challenge for cities of all sizes—there is no silver bullet as far as policy but opportunity in private public partnerships;
- ULI’s Emerging Trends in Real Estate key finding: “We are in a long cycle, not in boom/bust.
