ULI South Carolina is happy to announce scholarship opportunities for two upcoming conferences.

1. ULI SC – Capital Markets Conference YLG Scholarship

Young leaders in the ULI South Carolina District Council are encouraged to apply for a scholarship to attend the 2019 Capital Markets Conference on Kiawah Island, SC. The purpose of the program is to support the professional development of young leader ULI members.

One award will be granted for the 2019 ULI SC Capital Markets conference to a member matching the following criteria:

Young Leader: Applicants should be under 35 years old

ULI Commitment: Current membership and active engagement within ULI South Carolina. Applicant must show continued commitment to ULI after the Capital Markets meeting.

Work experience: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the real estate industry or related field, including development, architecture, planning, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, and nonprofits. Applicant must also show leadership and responsibility in their professional career.

The scholarship includes one (1) complimentary registration and one (1) night accommodation at the Kiawah Island Resort. The recipient will also be invited to attend the speaker dinner held Tuesday evening.

2. ULI SC – 2019 Fall Meeting Scholarship

ULI South Carolina members are encouraged to apply for a scholarship to attend the 2019 ULI Fall Meeting in Washington, DC, September 18-21, 2019. Scholarships are awarded in recognition of a member’s contributions to ULI and demonstrated commitment to real estate and land use issues.

One scholarship will be granted for the 2019 ULI Fall Meeting conference to a member matching the following criteria:

• Current membership and active engagement within ULI South Carolina. Applicant must show continued commitment to ULI after the Fall Meeting.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the real estate industry or related field, including development, architecture, planning, government, transportation, engineering, finance, sustainability, and nonprofits. Applicant must also show leadership and responsibility in their professional career.
