Coastal members and guests gathered on Wednesday, August 28 for an end of summer social at Choate Construction in Mount Pleasant. Early arrivals were treated to a presentation exploring Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Design and Construction. The presentation by Choate Construction’s Virtual Design team highlighted some of the latest in technology for the AEC field.  These tools are helping owners, architects and engineers complete projects more efficiently and with fewer headaches.

A networking happy hour followed the presentation, with guests enjoying views of the Ravenel Bridge and the Cooper River. VR headsets were available for guests to have a hands-on experinece during the happy hour.
