ULI South Carolina Midlands: Missing Middle Housing in Columbia – A Tool to Address Shortage in Supply and Choice
As with many cities in the country, Columbia needs more housing. But it’s not just more supply, we also need more choices in the types of housing available. One available tool to fill these needs is to build housing types that were common in the early twentieth century that are known as Missing Middle Housing. Join ULI South Carolina and the Central Carolina Realtors Association (CCRA) for a presentation by Opticos Design, Inc., who recently completed a study of how Columbia can implement this promising solution.
