On January 15, ULI SC’s upstate community toured the SC Ports Authority’s Inland Port Greer. Kevin Brady of Inland Port Greer, led the tour of the facility that opened in October 2013 and handles 6,000 to 7,000 containers daily. The Inland Port helps boost the efficiency of moving shipments from the Port of Charleston to companies all over the southeast.

Following the tour, the group gathered for a networking happy hour at Blue Ridge Brewery, where Mayor Rick Danner shared the exciting plans for Downtown Greer. Learn more about Greer’s innovative new streetscape plan here.
